L’Oréal Pakistan has made history by hosting the World’s Largest Haircare Lesson at Bahria Auditorium in Karachi, formally entering the Guinness World Records and elevating Pakistan’s standing in the beauty and personal care industry. Guinness World Records authenticated the event via live virtual adjudication supported by on-site witnesses, confirming Pakistan’s first record in the beauty and haircare category. The session was conducted by celebrated haircare expert Saman Nomani, who guided attendees through techniques designed to address common concerns in local climates.
Rehan Saeed, CEO and Executive General Manager of L’Oréal Pakistan, said: “This milestone is a reminder that beauty can be a catalyst for education, empowerment, and collective progress. At L’Oréal, our ambition is to go beyond beauty, by shaping conversations that elevate communities. By bringing global expertise to Pakistan and making knowledge accessible to thousands at once, we are proud to place Pakistan on the global stage. This record shows how brands can be forces for education and progress, combining science with accessibility to reshape the beauty landscape and empower individuals through knowledge.”
The occasion also served as the platform for the launch of Elvive Hyaluron Pure Shampoo, a new formula tailored to Pakistan’s climate. With salicylic acid to purify the scalp and hyaluronic acid for long-lasting hydration, it promises 72 hours of moisture along with solutions to “greasy roots with dry ends,” a common local haircare challenge.
For Saman Nomani, leading the lesson was more than technique: “Leading this record-breaking lesson was an incredible opportunity to share practical, science-backed haircare knowledge with so many people at once. This record shows how education in beauty can be both empowering and transformative.”
The successful execution of such a large-scale event underscores Pakistan’s ability to host world-class initiatives, while reinforcing L’Oréal’s commitment to beauty that moves beyond aesthetics toward social impact. As Saeed summed up: “Together, we’ve shown how beauty can unite communities, create impact, and proudly place Pakistan on the global stage.”
