Under the new system, citizens can apply for documents, make payments, and manage property records online—all through a unified interface designed to enhance convenience and reduce bureaucratic delays. The move reflects Islamabad’s commitment to modern governance and aligns with the government’s vision for digital transformation across public institutions.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized the initiative’s importance, stating that the system “will reduce cash handling, prevent fraud, and improve public convenience.” He highlighted how digitization not only boosts transparency but also builds public trust in civic processes.
The Cashless One Window initiative also supports Pakistan’s broader digital economy goals by encouraging electronic transactions and reducing dependency on physical paperwork. It serves as a model for other cities aiming to adopt smart governance solutions that prioritize accessibility, efficiency, and accountability.
With this launch, Islamabad stands at the forefront of Pakistan’s digital evolution—setting new standards for urban management, public service delivery, and citizen engagement in an increasingly connected era.
