ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN – In a significant move to deepen strategic economic partnerships, the Governments of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will co-host a major Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Business Forum in Riyadh this January 2026. The high-level forum, organized in collaboration with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), is designed to unlock new avenues of investment and trade, building upon the strong fraternal ties between the two nations.
Scheduled for the third week of January, the forum will bring together a powerful delegation of Pakistani business leaders, entrepreneurs, and senior government officials with their Saudi counterparts. The event will serve as a dynamic platform to showcase Pakistan’s investment potential in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, information technology, agriculture, and mining. This initiative is a direct continuation of the positive momentum generated by high-level diplomatic engagements and reflects a shared commitment to transforming a longstanding relationship into a robust economic partnership.

The forum aims to facilitate B2B (business-to-business) matchmaking, allowing companies from both countries to explore joint ventures, technology transfer, and strategic alliances. Key objectives include highlighting specific, bankable projects in Pakistan to Saudi investors and addressing any regulatory hurdles to foster a seamless flow of capital and expertise. This gathering is expected to be one of the most substantial trade and investment dialogues between the two countries in recent years.
A senior official involved in the planning stated, “The Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Business Forum is a cornerstone of our economic diplomacy. It represents a tangible step towards leveraging our deep-rooted brotherly relations for mutual economic prosperity. We are confident that this event will not only attract significant Saudi investment into priority sectors but also dramatically boost bilateral trade, creating jobs and driving growth in Pakistan.”
The business community in Pakistan has welcomed the announcement with great optimism, viewing it as a pivotal opportunity to attract strategic investments from one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds. The forum is anticipated to culminate in the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and concrete investment deals, marking a new chapter in Pakistan-Saudi economic cooperation.
