LAHORE, PAKISTAN – The three-day FoodAg International Expo concluded today, successfully positioning Pakistan as an emerging hub of agricultural innovation on the world stage. The premier event brought together farmers, agri-tech startups, researchers, and international buyers to showcase cutting-edge solutions aimed at transforming the nation’s agricultural landscape and enhancing food security.

Chief Organizer Dr. Ayesha Rehman stated, “FoodAg 2025 has successfully bridged the gap between traditional farming and modern technology. Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Tariq Bashir Cheema, who inaugurated the event, emphasized the government’s support for agricultural modernization. “The innovations displayed at FoodAg represent the future of Pakistani agriculture. Our government is committed to creating an enabling environment for such technologies to reach every farmer, ensuring sustainable growth in this vital sector.”

The expo also hosted technical sessions on sustainable farming practices, climate-smart agriculture, and export enhancement strategies. Several memoranda of understanding were signed between Pakistani companies and international partners during the event, paving the way for technology transfer and market access.
