The Federal Government has appointed Mr. Faisal Jeddy as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the apex body responsible for promoting and developing the country’s information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services (ITeS) export sector. The appointment is part of a strategic effort to inject fresh leadership and drive into the institution at a critical time when Pakistan is aiming to significantly ramp up its IT exports and global market share.

Mr. Faisal Jeddy brings substantial experience in the technology, business development, and corporate sectors to the role. His mandate is expected to focus on enhancing PSEB’s effectiveness in providing policy support, facilitating Pakistani IT companies in accessing international markets, resolving industry challenges, and implementing initiatives that can accelerate export growth. The appointment underscores the government’s priority to leverage the IT sector as a key engine for economic growth, foreign exchange earnings, and high-value job creation.
