The joint venture, comprising MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. as operator, along with Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, and Government Holdings Private Limited, confirmed gas and trace condensate from the Lumshiwal formation at the well, located in Kohat district.
Well Details and Testing Results
The well, spudded in August 2025 and later sidetracked to target improved reservoir quality, was drilled to a depth of 4,004 meters. Testing results showed gas flows of approximately 26.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) at a wellhead flowing pressure of 4,214 psi, based on log data interpretation.
