PTA Grants NOC for Telenor Pakistan Amalgamation into PTCL Subsidiary

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PSX: PTC) has received regulatory clearance from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for the consolidation and transfer of PTA licenses, as well as the amalgamation of Telenor Pakistan (Private) Limited into Pak Telecom Mobile Limited, both wholly owned subsidiaries of PTCL. The proposed amalgamation will be executed through a scheme of arrangement in line with applicable laws.

The development follows PTC’s earlier disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on March 19, 2026, and has been formally notified to PSX pursuant to Rule 5.6.1 of the PSX Rule Book read with Section 96 of the Securities Act 2015.
