For over seventeen years, L’Oréal Pakistan has played a defining role in shaping the country’s beauty, fashion, and empowerment landscape through initiatives such as PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week, Ambassador of Fashion, Beauty for a Better Life, and digital literacy programmes. Women of Worth represents the next evolution of that journey—expanding the idea of beauty beyond appearance to recognize the impact women create in communities, institutions, and across industries.

Platform Pillars

The platform will operate on three foundational pillars:

  • Recognition: Honoring women whose work reflects leadership, purpose, and lasting societal contribution
  • Storytelling: Sharing inspiring stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered
  • Impact Enablement: Supporting continued contribution and community building

Inaugural Cohort

Season 1 of this initiative will honor four Women of Worth honorees, and one Emerging Voice under the age of 25. Rather than ranking individuals, the platform celebrates a cohort of women whose work reflects leadership, purpose, and lasting societal contribution. By spotlighting sustained contribution, grassroots leadership, innovation, and resilience, the platform seeks to build a national registry of women shaping Pakistan’s future.

Categories of Recognition

The platform will recognize women across 5 distinct fields:

CategoryFocus Area
Social Impact and Grassroots LeadershipCommunity development, social change
Science, Healthcare and InnovationScientific research, medical advancement
Arts, Culture and Creative IndustriesCultural contribution, creative excellence
Sports and ResilienceAthletic achievement, perseverance
Gen Z Emerging VoicesYoung leaders under 25

Independent Governance

To safeguard credibility and neutrality, the platform will be governed by an independent Advisory Council and Jury Panel, composed of respected voices from journalism, academia, social impact, healthcare, law, and culture. The council will oversee ethical governance, eligibility criteria, and the jury process, ensuring that the final honoree selection remains independent and transparent.

Leadership Perspective

Commenting on the launch, Rehan Saeed, Executive General Manager at L’Oréal Pakistan, said: “For many years, L’Oréal Pakistan has celebrated beauty and creativity in this country. With Women of Worth, we are expanding that definition to honor the women whose impact is shaping Pakistan’s future. This platform is designed as a long-term national recognition body that celebrates contribution, courage, and leadership across sectors. By building a credible and transparent framework for recognition, we hope to spotlight inspiring stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered.”

Nomination and Timeline

Nominations will open through multiple channels later this month. The inaugural Women of Worth cycle will run from April to July 2026.
