According to a notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company’s board has authorised management to explore the potential transaction. The proposed acquisition remains subject to the finalisation of commercial terms, completion of due diligence, execution of definitive agreements and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

Systems Limited stated that it will keep the market informed of any material developments as discussions progress. At this stage, the company has not disclosed the identity of the target business or the financial details of the potential transaction.

The move aligns with Systems Limited’s growth strategy, which has included geographic expansion, digital transformation services and strategic acquisitions aimed at enhancing its capabilities across software development, business process outsourcing and technology consulting.

Industry analysts believe that further expansion through acquisitions could strengthen the company’s service portfolio, broaden its international footprint and support long-term revenue growth in an increasingly competitive global IT market.

Systems Limited is Pakistan’s largest listed technology company and operates across multiple international markets, providing software development, cloud, data, digital transformation and business process management services to clients worldwide.

The potential acquisition reflects continued consolidation and investment activity within Pakistan’s technology sector, as companies seek to scale operations and capitalise on growing demand for digital services across global markets.
