The card supports contactless payments, e-commerce transactions, and ATM access across millions of terminals worldwide, representing a significant step forward in payment convenience.
Ali Jamal, Group Head of Consumer Banking and Contact Center at HBL, emphasized that the co-badge card reflects the bank’s unwavering dedication to innovation and to offering products that anticipate and meet evolving customer needs. He noted that by combining the strengths of PayPak and UnionPay, HBL is providing customers with a reliable, secure, and future-ready payment solution. Muzammil Akram, Head of Cards at HBL, added that the partnership with PayPak and UnionPay promises mutual benefits and aligns with the bank’s goal of expanding financial access through diversified and digital-first solutions.
