PTCL Group, comprising Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited and Ufone 4G, has announced a strategic partnership with NETS International to upgrade its IT Core Routing Platforms using Cisco’s state-of-the-art routing technology. The collaboration marks a significant step in PTCL Group’s efforts to modernize its network infrastructure and deliver next-generation digital experiences to its customers across Pakistan.
The modernization initiative aims to boost data processing efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance overall user satisfaction. By deploying Cisco’s industry-leading IT Core Routing Solution, PTCL Group expects to strengthen service reliability and performance—benefits that will directly impact digital services such as streaming, gaming, and real-time communications.
The new deployment will align with PTCL and Ufone 4G’s existing Cisco ACI-based Software-Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure, further improving network agility and operational efficiency.
