NFL, a multi-category food giant and global exporter with a presence in 40 countries, aims to promote financial empowerment and stability for its employees through this initiative. ABHI announced the partnership in a statement on Tuesday, highlighting the companies’ shared commitment to employee well-being.
Under the new arrangement, NFL employees can access a portion of their earned wages in real-time through the ABHI mobile app or via SMS, receiving funds within 30 seconds, anytime and anywhere. The service is designed to help employees meet unexpected expenses, reduce dependence on high-interest loans, and avoid debt traps.
Head of Sales at ABHI, Rayaan Sayeed, said the initiative is expected to alleviate financial stress, which often impacts employee productivity and happiness. “We are excited to partner with National Foods to empower their employees with earned wage access,” he said.
Commenting on the partnership, Khurram Merchant, Global Head of Total Rewards & People Analytics at NFL, said the initiative reflects the company’s long-term commitment to supporting its workforce. “By giving our employees access to their earned wages, we are not only reducing financial stress but also enabling them to take control of their financial journey,” he added.
The collaboration marks a growing trend among companies in Pakistan adopting financial wellness tools to support their employees and improve workplace productivity.
