Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced a \$2 billion investment package for Pakistan, as part of a broader trilateral cooperation framework with Turkey and Pakistan. The announcement was made during a high-level summit attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and senior Pakistani officials.

President Aliyev revealed that investment projects under review between the three nations are valued at \$2 billion, with Pakistan expected to receive a significant portion. “Joint defence initiatives among Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan are essential for regional stability and mutual security,” Aliyev emphasized during the summit, underscoring the strategic importance of deepening trilateral cooperation.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s support for strengthening strategic partnerships with both Azerbaijan and Pakistan. He also expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan’s post-war reconstruction efforts and condemned the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
While Pakistan has yet to officially confirm the details of the investment package, sources close to the matter indicate that negotiations are actively progressing. The summit also served as a platform for the exchange of ideas on regional development, mutual defence, and economic collaboration.
