With Eatsy, Bank Alfalah continues to integrate banking into everyday lifestyle moments, helping both customers and restaurant partners transition into a secure, paperless, and tech-enabled dining experience. The launch is part of the bank’s broader digital strategy to embed financial services across lifestyle verticals and promote cashless transactions.

“Eatsy is a major step forward in our journey of embedded banking,” said Yahya Khan, Chief Digital Officer of Bank Alfalah. “By combining the convenience of mobile payments with the everyday dining experience, we are enabling a cashless ecosystem that benefits both our customers and restaurant partners. Our goal is to make payments embedded simpler, promote financial inclusion, and offer a digitised lifestyle solution that embeds in today’s consumer lifestyle. Eatsy is more than just an app; it’s an embedded platform for the future of payments and dining in Pakistan.”

The app has already been rolled out at 11 tier-one restaurants across Karachi and Lahore, including Premo by Xanders, The Patio, Tooso, Coco Cubano, Enigma, and London Courtyard. Bank Alfalah plans to expand Eatsy’s footprint by onboarding more restaurants throughout the year.

For Diners

Eatsy offers an intuitive interface that allows customers to reserve tables, browse menus, place orders, and pay—all through their smartphones. Diners can track their meal’s progress in real time, eliminating the wait for servers or physical menus. The app also supports secure digital payments using Mastercard and Visa debit and credit cards from any bank, and users can create a Bank Alfalah prepaid card for top-ups and exclusive rewards. Additional benefits include cashback offers and tax savings on digital payments.

For Restaurants

For restaurant partners, Eatsy digitizes front and back-end operations. It helps manage reservations, streamline ordering, reduce errors, and improve kitchen-server coordination. The app also supports instant payments, paperless billing, and offers analytics to better understand customer preferences and enhance service delivery. Merchants can issue and accept prepaid cards, improving cash flow and enabling real-time digital transactions.

As the first app in Pakistan launched by a bank to serve both diners and restaurant operators, Eatsy marks a significant step toward a truly cashless dining ecosystem. The goal is to convert cash users into digital payment adopters by offering a convenient, rewarding, and fully integrated financial experience within the restaurant environment.
