Fast Cables Limited has announced the successful commissioning of its state-of-the-art copper upcasting plant, boosting its production capacity by an additional 10,000 tons per annum. With this expansion, the company’s total copper production capacity has now reached 15,000 tons annually.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated, “We are pleased to announce that Fast Cables Limited has successfully commissioned a state-of-the-art Copper Upcasting Plant which has added the nameplate capacity of 10,000 tons, taking the total capacity to 15,000 tons per annum.”
This development is part of Fast Cables’ broader expansion strategy aimed at enhancing operational capabilities, increasing efficiency, and catering to the rising demand in both domestic and international markets.
Following the announcement, Fast Cables’ stock saw a notable increase of 4.29% (Rs 1.02), reaching Rs 24.80 by 2:24 PM on April 15, 2025.
