The partnership brings eco-friendly four-wheel EVs to Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, offering passengers their first experience with locally manufactured electric vehicles. As part of the launch, inDrive and YDC are providing free rides in Honri EVs throughout Ramadan, aiming to promote sustainable transport while offering a meaningful service during the holy month.

Muhammad Awais, Country Lead of inDrive Pakistan, emphasized the company’s commitment to driving positive change through innovation. He stated that this initiative reflects inDrive’s dedication to providing accessible and environmentally friendly mobility solutions.

This collaboration represents the first large-scale integration of locally manufactured four-wheel EVs into Pakistan’s ride-hailing industry. By introducing Honri electric vehicles, inDrive and YDC aim to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and contribute to Pakistan’s transition to cleaner energy solutions.

The initiative not only supports the government’s broader vision for EV adoption but also sets a precedent for future investments in sustainable transportation. As demand for electric mobility grows, this partnership could pave the way for further expansion of EV ride-hailing services across Pakistan.
