inDrive, the globally recognized ride-hailing platform, has unveiled a new Business Mode feature for its delivery services in Pakistan, targeting small businesses and entrepreneurs amid surging demand for digital logistics solutions. The update comes in response to a 36 percent increase in business-to-business delivery activity across the country over the past six months.
The newly introduced Business Mode offers a suite of benefits designed specifically for regular business users, including in-app package insurance, priority customer support, and enhanced delivery options. This move reflects a growing trend among Pakistan’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt courier platforms that provide greater speed, flexibility, and operational control.
According to inDrive’s latest study, the top reasons SMEs are gravitating toward the app include the ability to book multiple couriers simultaneously (63 percent), faster delivery turnaround (57 percent), and real-time tracking with better delivery management (48 percent). Despite 58 percent of surveyed businesses still operating primarily offline, there is a clear pivot toward digital tools to meet rising customer expectations and stay competitive.
“Pakistani entrepreneurs are pragmatic, determined and increasingly moving towards digital channels. Business Mode has been developed keeping these evolving needs in mind,” said Muhammad Owais Saeed, Country Lead at inDrive.
The Business Mode also offers peace of mind with package insurance of up to PKR 10,000 in the event of loss or theft, helping businesses make the shift from traditional logistics to reliable, tech-driven alternatives.
As the demand for efficient and scalable delivery solutions continues to rise across urban centers in Pakistan, inDrive’s Business Mode aims to strengthen the digital backbone of the SME sector—offering a modern, dependable, and customer-focused approach to everyday business logistics.
