“Cricket is at the heart of Pakistan’s sporting culture. Our sponsorship of Islamabad United is a testament to InDrive’s commitment to supporting local talent and providing opportunities for young athletes,” shared Muhammad Awais Saeed, Country Lead, InDrive Pakistan.
Echoing the sentiment, Hassan Zaman, Marketing Manager South Asia at InDrive, emphasized the brand’s broader vision. “Our partnership with Islamabad United is a shared commitment to uplifting local communities through sports. By creating opportunities for youth engagement and investing in sports infrastructure, we aim to leave a lasting positive impact on Pakistan’s sporting landscape.”
As part of the partnership, InDrive will offer lucky users and Islamabad United fans an unforgettable experience — an exclusive visit to the team’s training grounds with meet-and-greet sessions featuring Islamabad United stars. Winners will be chauffeured in an InDrive ride alongside the team’s popular mascot, Sheru, adding to the excitement.
Beyond the PSL collaboration, InDrive has been actively investing in community upliftment projects across Pakistan. Earlier during Ramazan, the company launched its “Ride to Donate Pakistan” initiative, focused on building modern sports facilities in schools across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi. In the first phase, InDrive is funding the construction of three new sports grounds in Karachi at Syed Asghar Ashfaq Girls & Boys Primary School, Saran Educational Trust, and GBSS Kara Bhai Kareem Jee School. These facilities aim to provide thousands of underprivileged children with safe spaces to play, learn teamwork, and build confidence.
Adding to the initiative’s social impact, Islamabad United’s star bowler, Rumman Raees, renowned for his charitable efforts, will personally visit the InDrive-sponsored playgrounds, inspiring the next generation of young athletes in Pakistan.
