Innovista (Pvt.) Ltd. has officially joined forces with the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) as a Technology Innovation Partner under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. The partnership aims to bolster Pakistan’s cybersecurity capabilities through innovation, joint research, and skill development.
The collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at National CERT headquarters in Islamabad. The ceremony was led by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, alongside Brig. Rana Farrukh Saleem, Secretary NTISB; Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building; and Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Training.
Representing Innovista were Saleem Arif, Executive Director; Awais Bin Siddique, Director of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs; Dr. Usman Zia, Director Technical; and Hisham Sarwar, Chief Executive Officer.
“This partnership is critical to building a secure and self-reliant digital infrastructure for Pakistan,” said Dr. Haider Abbas. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in driving technological advancement in national cybersecurity.
As part of the CIE initiative, Innovista will collaborate closely with National CERT to design and deploy cutting-edge solutions, facilitate knowledge-sharing, and contribute to capacity-building programs within the cybersecurity domain.
The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem serves as an inclusive platform linking government entities, SECP-registered private organizations, academic institutions, and technology innovators. Its goal is to drive forward advanced cybersecurity solutions, improve cyber threat intelligence sharing, and enhance Pakistan’s resilience against evolving cyber threats.
