JS Investments Limited (JSIL), Pakistan’s oldest private sector Asset and REIT Management Company licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), has partnered with Gohar Group of Companies to launch the country’s first Shariah-compliant hybrid hotel Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), named JS Hotel REIT (JSHR). The REIT features a multinational, globally recognized hotel brand located in Hyderabad, Sindh.

With SECP’s regulatory approvals in place, JSHR has reached a significant milestone with the signing of a strategic investment agreement. Gohar Group, through its ownership and partners, has joined as a founding strategic investor, contributing both land and equity. The fund is now open for private placement, inviting local and international accredited investors to participate by contacting JS Investments directly.
Anchored by a 139-key premium hotel operated under a franchise model with a global hospitality brand, the REIT brings institutional-grade real estate investment to Pakistan’s hospitality sector. The hotel is designed with environmentally responsible construction practices, aligning with the rising demand for sustainable urban infrastructure.
Ms. Iffat Zehra Mankani, CEO of JS Investments Limited, emphasized the importance of this initiative as a milestone for Pakistan’s real estate investment landscape. She noted that JSHR is a professionally managed and regulated investment vehicle aligned with international hospitality standards and is in line with the company’s vision to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s economic and infrastructure development.
Hyderabad’s commercial growth and increasing tourism have outpaced the city’s current hospitality infrastructure. The hotel aims to address this gap by offering world-class services for business and leisure travelers alike.
