Unity Foods Limited has announced key changes to its leadership structure, appointing Mr. Amir Shehzad as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors and reappointing Mr. Muhammad Farrukh as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decisions were taken during a meeting of the Board held on March 27, 2025, and have been formally communicated to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

Headquartered in Lahore, Unity Foods is a prominent player in Pakistan’s food sector, with operations spanning edible oils, animal feed, and other consumer food products. The company expressed confidence that the new leadership team will strengthen its strategic vision and guide the organisation towards sustained growth in an increasingly competitive market.
Mr. Amir Shehzad brings with him extensive experience in the banking and financial sector, having held senior leadership positions at both domestic and international institutions, including the National Bank of Pakistan and United Bank Limited. He has also been a part of Unity Foods’ leadership for over six years, contributing to its operational and strategic direction.
Alongside this appointment, the Board also reappointed Mr. Muhammad Farrukh as CEO, recognising his role in steering the company’s performance in recent years. Under his leadership, Unity Foods has expanded its product portfolio and enhanced its market presence across Pakistan.
The company has notified all relevant stakeholders, including TRE Certificate Holders, about these leadership changes. The appointments are effective immediately and will remain in place for the tenure of the current Board.
