Pakistan, Kuwait Pledge Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation Following High-Level Talks

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Kuwait bilateral relations and deepening cooperation across key sectors . The discussion covered a wide range of mutual interests, including trade, energy, investment, and regional security, with both sides agreeing to remain closely engaged on matters of shared importance .

During the conversation, Foreign Minister Jarrah felicitated Deputy Prime Minister Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye . The two leaders also exchanged views on the regional situation, with particular focus on developments in the Middle East and Occupied East Jerusalem, reflecting the alignment of diplomatic perspectives on critical international issues .
