The meeting builds on a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two organizations in May 2025, which established a framework for joint efforts in information sharing, investigation, and technical collaboration to combat bid rigging and collusive tendering in public procurement . Under this agreement, both institutions exchange information to promote transparent procurement and fair competition, while also collaborating on joint strategies and capacity-building initiatives .
