The integrated system offers merchants an easy setup process through mobile or tablet devices, enabling them to accept digital payments within minutes. QR and NFC acceptance points support contactless transactions, while pay-by-link options facilitate remote payments via messaging apps and email. A unified backend dashboard provides sales analytics, reconciliation tools, settlement tracking, and customer insights.
Built on Smart1’s scalable payments middleware and Faysal Bank’s banking infrastructure, the platform guarantees adherence to regulatory frameworks and ensures data security standards. Faysal Bank will oversee settlements and payouts while Smart1 will manage merchant onboarding, tech support, and analytics monitoring.
With contactless payments gaining popularity, this partnership meets emerging market needs, reducing reliance on cash and streamlining checkout experiences. SMEs, in particular, will benefit from low-cost transaction models, bulk invoicing tools, and integrated sales reporting—empowering growth with minimal technical barriers.
Faysal Bank and Smart1 Tech leadership underscored that their partnership is more than a tech solution—it represents a broader mission to digitize commerce, foster financial inclusion, and position Pakistan at the forefront of Southeast Asian payment ecosystems.
The rollout will begin in major commercial centers before scaling to tier‑2 and tier‑3 cities. Additional features planned for future releases include loyalty program plugins, one-click recurring billing, and API-based third-party integrations to support digital marketplaces.
