The initiative has been rolled out across major cities as part of foodpanda’s ongoing commitment to rider welfare and workplace safety. In addition to providing hydration and cooling support, the company has distributed educational material encouraging riders to recognise symptoms of heat exhaustion, remain hydrated and take regular breaks during extreme weather conditions.

The heat relief network is designed to minimise health risks associated with prolonged exposure to high temperatures while enabling riders to continue serving customers safely. The company has also encouraged customers to support riders by being mindful of weather conditions and showing patience during peak heat hours.

foodpanda stated that rider safety remains a key operational priority and that it will continue monitoring weather conditions to implement additional protective measures whenever required. The company regularly introduces initiatives focused on health, safety and financial well-being for its delivery partners.

As climate-related challenges become increasingly common, organisations are placing greater emphasis on employee and workforce welfare. Through this initiative, foodpanda aims to create safer working conditions for thousands of riders while reinforcing its commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable service delivery across Pakistan.
