The company’s Board has approved the allocation of funds—via equity and/or interest-bearing loans—to support the development of multi-story commercial properties. A key component of the plan involves leasing an existing investment property to Ultra Properties, where new commercial buildings will be constructed to generate rental income. This move aligns with Kohat Cement’s vision of evolving from a pure manufacturing entity into a multi-sector powerhouse, leveraging its assets to unlock new revenue streams and bolster long-term growth.

In tandem with its real estate foray, the Board has also announced a 5-for-1 share subdivision, reducing the nominal value of its shares from Rs. 10 to Rs. 2. This initiative is designed to enhance market liquidity, broaden investor access, and support improved stock market performance. An Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) is scheduled for August 7, 2025, to finalize the share split and amend necessary corporate charters.

Additionally, the company reaffirmed its leadership by reappointing Mr. Aizaz Mansoor Sheikh as Chairman and Mr. Nadeem Atta Sheikh as Chief Executive Officer, each for a three-year term. Their continued stewardship will ensure consistent oversight and execution as Kohat Cement transitions into real estate.

This comprehensive strategy—combining real estate investment, shareholder value enhancement, and leadership stability—positions Kohat Cement to capture long-term opportunities, diversify its portfolio, and reinforce its commitment to growth and innovation.
