The core of the partnership is the opening of a PKR Vostro Account. This special account will allow Freedom Bank Kazakhstan to hold and manage Pakistani Rupees directly with Meezan Bank. This setup is expected to make cross-border trade and commercial transactions faster and more efficient for businesses in both markets.
Bank officials highlighted that the collaboration will provide secure, reliable, and compliant banking channels. It is seen as a key step in expanding correspondent banking networks and supporting the growing trade links between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, ultimately aiming to boost bilateral trade flows.
