Over the past year, Mobilink Bank’s digital ecosystem has enabled millions to access secure and convenient financial services. Key initiatives cited include digital account opening, self-service kiosks, digital SME financing and the upgrade of its T24 core banking system to R23 – a first in Pakistan’s banking industry. The bank reported over PKR 60 billion in monthly QR transactions, over 700,000 merchants onboarded and more than 55 million JazzCash wallet users. “Digital financial services aren’t just an enabler—they’re the heartbeat of empowerment, and we’re committed to making it accessible for every Pakistani,” added Aamir Ibrahim. President & CEO Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary emphasised: “These awards inspire us to innovate further and help create a futuristic financial ecosystem that enables inclusive and sustainable progress for all.”
Mobilink Bank’s consecutive recognition reflects its broader ecosystem strategy- combining telecom, fintech and banking to drive financial inclusion, especially in underserved segments. By integrating digital wallets, QR acceptance, SME financing and women-led initiatives (for example the Women Inspirational Network incubated over 33 women-led startups), the bank has positioned itself at the nexus of inclusion, technology and scale. As Pakistan moves toward a cashless economy, the bank’s digital traction and governance performance make it a standout. The award also bolsters investor confidence and sets a benchmark for digital banking in Pakistan’s microfinance sector.
