Customers initiate interaction through the WhatsApp UAN, select city, preferred number, and bundle, submit required personal details and payment, and receive the SIM delivered to their doorstep. Biometric verification is conducted on delivery, ensuring security and compliance.
“By enabling SIM purchases and bundle management through WhatsApp, we are putting the power of connectivity directly into our customers’ hands — making it easier, faster, and more accessible than ever,” said Waqas Amanullah, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Telenor Pakistan.
The solution is currently available across more than 20 cities including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan and Faisalabad, with plans to extend it further. This launch reinforces Telenor Pakistan’s commitment to digital inclusion, innovation and customer-centric service. By leveraging the ubiquity of WhatsApp and removing traditional retail friction, the company is redefining telecom engagement and raising industry standards in connectivity and service experience.
