UBL Approves Rs40 Billion Financing for Agriculture, KMBL and University Projects

United Bank Limited (UBL) has approved financing facilities totalling Rs40 billion to support strategic projects spanning the agriculture sector, Khushhali Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL) and a higher education institution. The approvals reflect the bank’s continued focus on supporting priority sectors that contribute to Pakistan’s economic and social development.

The financing package includes support for agricultural initiatives aimed at improving productivity, expanding access to financing for farmers and strengthening the country’s agri-value chain. In addition, the bank approved financing related to Khushhali Microfinance Bank, supporting efforts to expand financial inclusion and improve access to banking services for underserved individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses.
