The program’s core mission is to empower social entrepreneurs across the country. It will provide them with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to build sustainable businesses that tackle critical social and environmental issues. This directly supports the development of a strong and impactful social enterprise sector in Pakistan.
Participants in the program will gain access to world-class training, expert mentorship, and practical tools for developing their business models. A key focus will be on creating ventures that address challenges related to poverty alleviation, sustainable development, and community resilience. By fostering a new generation of mission-driven leaders, the program aims to create positive, lasting change.
This collaboration brings together unique strengths: UNODC’s global development expertise, Rizq’s deep on-the-ground experience in Pakistan fighting food waste and hunger, and the Yunus Centre’s pioneering knowledge in social business. Their joint effort is a significant investment in Pakistan’s future, aiming to build a more inclusive and innovative economy from the ground up.
