Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has reached a major milestone in Pakistan’s auto industry by assembling and delivering more than 300 electric vehicles (EVs) to eco-conscious consumers.
Built under a toll-manufacturing agreement with Eco‑Green Motors, these EVs—branded as Honri‑VE and available in 200 km and 300 km variants—reflect DFML’s growing commitment to sustainable transportation. The swift production move follows DFML’s recent factory revival and regulatory approval to resume EV manufacturing.
Company Secretary Muhammad Hanif German shared, “Our cars have already hit the roads,” underscoring confidence in both the product and market readiness. He further noted that the Honri‑VE models compare favorably to familiar compact vehicles, offering an appealing and accessible electric alternative for Pakistani families.
This delivery wave not only demonstrates DFML’s manufacturing agility but also highlights a broader surge in EV demand, spurred by more affordable financing and growing consumer appetite for clean energy vehicles. DFML’s initiative signals a pivotal shift toward greener, locally assembled transportation for the Pakistani market.
