This upcoming NIC in Sialkot will span between 12,000 and 14,000 square feet and be capable of hosting up to 25 startups per cohort, offering access to conference halls, recreational spaces, and high-speed internet. Cohorts will launch annually, with a dedicated 25% quota reserved for women-led startups—especially those focusing on the city’s core industrial strengths in sports, surgical, and musical instruments.

Sialkot, a powerhouse of Pakistan’s export economy, contributes around $2.5 billion annually through thousands of SMEs, supplying over half the world’s footballs and a significant share of surgical tools to top global brands. The new NIC will be the ninth in Ignite’s national network—joining centers already active in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta, Hyderabad, and Faisalabad.

This expansion underscores Ignite’s mission to spread smart startup infrastructure across Pakistan, fostering regional innovation ecosystems integral to digital transformation and economic growth.
