Yango Pakistan Rolls Out “Go to the Fields” to Ground Its Urban Mobility Vision

In a groundbreaking employee engagement initiative, Yango Pakistan has launched the “Go to the Fields” program, empowering company colleagues to step outside the office and ride along with drivers—experiencing daily operations and customer interactions firsthand. Implemented across Karachi and Islamabad, this initiative marks Pakistan’s first deep immersion program designed to embed grassroots insights into enterprise strategy.

Under the program, leadership and team members joined drivers and riders during real trips, navigating urban challenges such as traffic congestion, passenger behaviors, route inefficiencies, and unfolding ride dynamics. This unfiltered exposure allows participants to understand the nuances of daily operations—from app usability or ride safety to communication gaps and service quality—for a grounded reassessment of internal policies and support tools.

According to Yango’s Country Head, this initiative demonstrates an unwavering commitment to transparency and empathy: “By walking—or riding—in the shoes of our service partners and customers, we gain unfiltered context that fuels meaningful improvement.” The experience bridges the gap between strategy and reality, enabling more user-centric enhancements in operations, driver support, customer protection, and local adaptation of service models.

“Go to the Fields” will roll out across additional cities including Lahore, Multan, and more—serving as part of Yango’s national roadmap to integrate policy-making with real-time feedback and local dynamics.

This initiative reaffirms Yango Pakistan’s focus on aligning leadership efforts with on-ground realities, leading through experiential understanding, and making operational decisions rooted in direct, first-hand perspectives. It serves as a powerful reminder that strong services are crafted not just in boardrooms—but in the living streets and daily moments of our cities.
