The Government of Punjab has significantly expanded the reach of its innovative mobile driving license services. The “Pink and Blue” mobile licensing units are now operational across 27 districts of the province, successfully bringing essential citizen services directly to people’s doorsteps.

This initiative has demonstrated massive public uptake, with over 140,000 residents availing these on-door services in just the past two months.
Service Breakdown & Key Achievements:
Official data reveals the following impact since the units were launched:
- 51,000 citizens received new learner’s permits.
- 70,000 individuals obtained fresh regular driving licenses.
- 25,000 people renewed their existing licenses.
- A dedicated focus on women’s empowerment, with special Pink units serving 24,000 women in major cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad. Among them, 7,000 received learning licenses and 6,000 obtained regular licenses.
