The core of this collaboration is to dramatically expand Zong’s device portfolio. The partnership will introduce a wide range of 5G smartphones, from entry-level devices aimed at first-time users to mid-to-high tier and specialized gaming phones for tech-savvy youth.
To overcome the affordability barrier, the initiative will be supported by innovative Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) financing schemes. This will allow customers to access advanced smartphones through flexible payment plans. All devices will be offered at competitive market rates and bundled with Zong’s comprehensive service packages, including gaming, esports, entertainment, and data-focused offerings.
Commenting on the partnership, Sajid Munir, Head of Marketing at Zong, stated, “This represents a major step in Zong’s strategic direction to accelerate Pakistan’s digital transformation. With 5G on the horizon, it is critical to ensure that advanced technology is both accessible and affordable.”
By combining a diverse device lineup, flexible payment solutions, and value-added services, this partnership aims to empower more Pakistanis to participate in the digital economy. It strengthens Zong’s leadership in delivering future-ready digital experiences and advances the national vision of a truly Digital Pakistan.
