Under the agreement, the Supernet subsidiary will resell Arabsat’s Ka-band satellite bandwidth packages to ISPs, enterprises, rural Internet service providers, telecom operators, and government agencies seeking reliable backhaul connectivity. This partnership enables a local point of presence (PoP) and seamless service integration with terrestrial networks.

Supernet’s leadership highlighted that this agreement will extend high-speed internet services to underserved regions—supporting continuity in broadband, IoT connectivity, remote education, and industrial automation deployments in geographies with limited fiber or microwave coverage.

The reseller model includes channel partner onboarding, technical support, bandwidth monitoring dashboards, and managed service capabilities. Supernet plans to train its partner network on satellite link installation, service-level compliance, and usage analytics.

Supernet’s association with an international satellite operator aligns with Pakistan’s digital inclusion agenda and provides new infrastructure options for remote connectivity. The deal also empowers telcos and rural ISPs to expand coverage affordably, bypassing last-mile terrestrial limitations.

As the rollout begins, the company will also explore bundling satellite broadband with existing FTTx and 4G/5G offerings—ensuring resilient hybrid network models for enterprises, telecoms, and public sector clients.

The initiative reinforces Supernet’s ambition to become a leading aggregator of connectivity services—blending satellite, fiber, and wireless assets to deliver seamless and scalable network solutions across Pakistan.
