Zindigi Freelancer Connect Launches Nationwide Series Starting in Peshawar

Zindigi has unveiled a nationwide “Freelancer Connect” series, designed to support Pakistan’s growing community of freelance professionals. The first event took place in Peshawar, bringing together freelancers from digital services, content creation, graphic design, programming, and consulting to network, share insights, and gain exposure to new tech-driven finance tools.

The event featured hands-on sessions on digital onboarding for Zindigi’s mobile wallet, tutorials on invoicing and client payments, and workshops on building strong online portfolios. Zindigi representatives led discussions on financial literacy, tax registration, and strategies for receiving international payments. A key highlight offered attendees peer-led guidance on optimizing client bids, managing current work tools, and scaling small freelance businesses.

Organisers emphasized the event’s role in promoting financial inclusion and economic empowerment. Freelancers received support for integrating payment links, using digital wallets to manage cash flows, and receiving instant earnings—with no physical bank branch visits required. Network connectivity and mentorship opportunities allowed participating freelancers to access advisory clinics focused on brand-building, digital FA, and entrepreneurial growth.

Encouraged by the positive reception in Peshawar, Zindigi confirmed that the Freelancer Connect program will travel to major cities—including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Quetta—offering structured workshops and digital readiness training. Each city’s cohort is expected to include hackathons, employer-partner matchups, and personal branding masterclasses.

Zindigi hopes the initiative will reduce friction in payment acceptance, empower freelance talent across all provinces, and help elevate Pakistan’s position as a global freelancing hub. By marrying fintech convenience with community-building, Freelancer Connect provides tools and networks that support sustainable freelance careers and tech-enabled self-reliance.
