Zong 4G has been acknowledged with the second-highest ranking among Category I operators in the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s Cyber Security Awards 2025. This milestone, following their third-place ranking last year, underscores Zong’s progress in advancing cybersecurity resilience within the telecom sector.
The recognition was announced during the Next-Gen Cyber Resilience Workshop and Telecom Cybersecurity Awards ceremony. The evaluation process highlighted criteria such as compliance with critical telecom data security regulations, improvements in external attack surface defense, active cyber threat intelligence sharing with the national telecom security operations center, proficiency in national cyber emergency response readiness, and robust DNS security validation.
