PTCL Group has posted impressive results for the first half of the year, with a consolidated revenue increase of 16% year-on-year—driven by surging demand in fixed broadband, mobile data, enterprise services, and wholesale segments. The Group’s operating profit jumped 38% to Rs. 7.9 billion, affirming its strong foothold as Pakistan’s top integrated telecom and ICT provider.

PTCL itself recorded a 12% revenue uptick, fueled by a 62% surge in Flash Fiber and 15% growth in business solutions. The Carrier and Wholesale segment followed the positive trend with 18% growth, while international operations escalated by 10%. Ufone 4G emerged as a standout performer—posting 17% topline growth and a hefty EBIT of Rs. 7.6 billion, up from Rs. 0.7 billion last year. U Microfinance Bank also contributed to the positive momentum with a 25% revenue rise.
PTCL announced significant achievements, including expanded high-speed access via Flash Fiber, enhanced infrastructure through submarine cable alliances, and strategic partnerships to extend IP bandwidth and satellite-based connectivity across underserved regions.
